To every Otologist that’s is interested in the CI field, ICIT is the best place to start!!! Since the beginning of CI implantation and development five-six decades ago, all was covered by the lead instructors in the course. With all their experience, they give the participant all the pearls that one needs to succeed in the field.

CI is my passion and I spend most of my time learning and practicing in order to do the best things for my patients. The time devoted to audiology and basics of candidacy were also very appreciated. I think a course like this should be required of any implant surgeon.

I have found ICIT course to be a wonderful opportunity for cochlear implant surgeons started their carrier as well as those surgeons who have been doing implants for some time and want to improve their skills. Starting from the web classes which are very well organized in terms of content and delivery to the temporal bone lab., everything adds something to your knowledge and skills. I liked the concept of Compleat CI surgeon who should be knowledgeable about every aspect of the subject from basic and applied anatomy to the audiology, radiology, electronics so on and off course different surgical aspects. All these things were covered during the course.

The ICIT course was a great experience for me. Initially, I thought it’s too early in my carrier for this course. But your kind words of encouragement have ignited my interest in this field. I started recommending the Advanced Audiology Course to other colleagues after completing just one week of the training. The ICIT course really did a good job of informing audiologist of all different levels of CI backgrounds of the current practices. This is what I needed to serve our clientele with hearing loss and for me to teach the next generation of speech pathologists.

The Auditory Verbal Practice Course provided by ICIT and Hearing First was a wonderful first step for me as a speech-language pathologist beginning my training in auditory verbal therapy. It was comprehensive, well-organized, and provided helpful resources that I was able to immediately implement into my daily practice. I really enjoyed the layout of the course, with 8 weeks of didactic lecture and live webinars, followed by three months of one-on-one coaching and mentorship. It felt like a very natural progression, and I appreciated the ability to put knowledge and theory into practice, under the guidance of a LSL certified therapist. Each of the lecturers who presented on a topic each week were extremely knowledgeable and great teachers. I feel like this course was invaluable to my training and journey to provide SLP services to deaf and hard of hearing individuals.

The Institute for Cochlear Implant Training is a fantastic course and I highly recommend it! The course was designed well and covered a variety of topics.
