Jenna Voss, PhD, is an Associate Professor and Communication Disorders & Deaf Education Department Chair at Fontbonne University. As an educator of deaf-and-hard-of-hearing (DHH) students and a Listening and Spoken Language Specialist, Auditory-Verbal Educator (LSLS Cert. AVEd), Dr. Voss prepares future speech-language pathologists and educators, mentors professionals to improve family-centered early intervention practices and promotes interprofessional and collaborative practices. For more than 20 years, her scholarly priorities have focused on the promotion of equity and inclusion, the implementation of family-centered practices, and the implementation of effective practices in personnel preparation. Dr. Voss presents internationally and has co-authored two texts: Small Talk: Bringing Listening and Spoken Language to Your Young Child With Hearing Loss & Case Studies in Deaf Education: Inquiry, Application, and Resources. Dr. Voss currently serves on the AG Bell Academy for Listening and Spoken Language as well as the Council on Education of the Deaf Board of Directors. As a seasoned presenter and learning facilitator, Dr. Voss offers workshops, mentoring, coaching, consulting, and listening and spoken language intervention.
