Jourdan Holder, AuD, PhD, is the Director of the Cochlear Implant Program at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She currently serves adult and pediatric cochlear implant patients in the clinic in addition to conducting research in Vanderbilt’s Implantables, Hearing Enhancement, & Amplification Research (I HEAR) Laboratory. Her primary research interests are understanding and improving speech perception and quality of life outcomes for cochlear implant recipients using a variety of different methods and improving access to cochlear implant technology especially for non-traditional pediatric candidates. Her work has resulted in over 40 peer-reviewed publications and numerous scientific presentations nationally and internationally.
