Dr. Kevin D. Brown is the Joseph Riddle endowed Professor and Vice Chair of outpatient services in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, and a Professor of Neurosurgery at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. He also serves as the chief of Otology and Neurotology as well as the executive directror of the children's cochlear implant program at UNC. His research interests include cochlear implantation for single-sided deafness in adults and children, hearing preservation cochlear implantation, and anatomy-based programming of cochlear implants.
