Dr. Sara Funatake, AuD, CCC-A, is an Assistant Professor of Audiology at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). She received her clinical doctorate in audiology from Idaho State University in 2016. Since joining the OHSU cochlear implant team in 2017, she has provided comprehensive care to both pediatric and adult cochlear implant recipients. Prior to her current role, she established a cochlear implant mapping center in Eugene, OR. Her research interests include objective measurements, speech perception outcomes, and strategies for hearing preservation.
